My Intention.

Having just started my Masters program I firstly want to make sure I pass this first class. I have previously tried and failed. But I’ve never been one to just give up. Over the course of my program, I want to further my career goals with extracurricular activities on campus. This way when I graduate I will have a body of work to show for my time. I also want to improve my network. In my previous program I was so focused on completing assignments and learning material. This time, I intend to build my contact list, thus improving the network I have once I graduate. More personally, I intend to settle a little bit. Life has been chaotic for me since completing my undergrad, I scrambled for work and ultimately failed. By returning to school I’ve given myself the opportunity to improve myself and my career. Ultimately my intention is begin my journey to be a master filmmaker, and that starts here and now.

I started my master journey a long time ago. I have spent most of my life getting to the point where I can begin to put that journey to the test. I was always told by family and friends that what I wanted was unachievable and that I should think of something safer. But you do not get as far as I want to go by doing something safe. I aim high, and recently I have fallen short. However, this has not discouraged me from pursuing what I know I am meant to do.
